What is the difference between IP20 and IP65 LED strip lights?
IP20 strip lights are intended for dry indoor locations. IP65 products provide greater protection against dust and moisture, but suitability still depends on the installation environment and how connections and cut ends are protected.
How do I select the correct power supply?
Multiply the strip’s wattage per metre by the total installed length, then select a power supply with the correct voltage and sufficient capacity. Long runs may need to be divided or powered from more than one point to reduce voltage drop.
Can LED strip lights be cut and reconnected?
Yes, but only at the marked cutting points. Use connectors and accessories that match the strip width, voltage and type, such as single-colour or RGB.
